To love another person boldly and without conditions is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves.
How we treat others is a reflection of our own heart. When we show kindness, kindness is given back to us.
WE all want to be a people that loves well and treats others well. But we are human and can miss it. The best thing to dois to realize we are just humans and that we need to admit that we are never going to be perfect. When I first came to the Lord, I knew I was going to fall short so I asked Him to show me how to be a better person on how to love others better. God's word is excellent to meditate upon.
Having attentive listening skills and patience is good fruit of the Spirit. I lacked in both of those areas, BUT GOD has created in me a new man. If you ask.... He will in you as well!
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Seeing the world around us from a God's eye view gives humans freedom. The New Commandment that Jesus gave us was to LOVE one another. John 15:12 says this clearly, This is My Commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you. dying to our flesh... our selves can be extremly difficult, but the bondage we are to self will never satisfy.
